The chairman of the Delegation Committee of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce in L’Hospitalet - Joan Martorell - and the director of Consortium Biopol’H - Ramon López - have signed an agreement to set up a framework of constant collaboration between both entities which may help create a favourable environment for the location and formation of new biomedical companies in the Biopol'H area. It also aims to promote innovation as a sign of identity between the organizations and companies within this environment.     

Some of the objectives arising from this agreement are to widespread the range of services offered to the companies located around Biopol’H, collaborate to encourage the promotion of innovation in the activities of entities and companies, and facilitate the dissemination of the features of Biopol’H nationally and internationally.

The Chamber will offer, moreover, training programmes for entrepreneurs so training will be also provided for members of the Biopol'H area. In addition, the Consortium Biopol’H and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce will cooperate in the design of specific activities to support entrepreneurship and facilitate the first steps and internationalization of the emerging companies.
