Here comes the third edition of Bioagora – the Biopol’H meeting place for investors, agents of knowledge, researchers, companies and institutions to share initiatives and find resources.

This year, besides the conference to be held November 9 & 10 at the Hotel Hesperia Tower, the event will also bring along a whole set of proposals that will be developed over the next half of October and November. Bioagora wants to open up to new audiences with this schedule and offer something more than just a meeting point for the different links in the value chain of biotechnology and biomedical products: the event is set as an environment to bring the knowledge to get started in various activities related to this booming sector to a wider audience.

In addition, to promote and popularize the scientific and biotechnology world in society, Biopol’H has prepared BiomediCine – the first biomedical film show in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat – due for November 3. BiomediCine aims to be used as guidance for those filmmakers who wish to enter the world of scientific documentaries and offer them the basis to prepare their own audiovisual works rigorously. In this first edition, the show will include the exhibition of the documentary films about biomedicine awarded in the scientific film festivals of Ronda and Badajoz. There will be as well a round table to discuss the most distinctive features concerning the production of such film works.

One other of these activities are the School of Business Angels and the Investment Forum, two events organized by Biopol’H in collaboration with La Salle Technova. The objective of this activity is to make the entry into the world of Business Angels easier for the newest investors. The Investment Forum will conclude the course with a real practice session in which other investors with experience will be able to participate as well.
