The construction of the second floor of the modular and service building, aimed to be used as a bioincubator, is scheduled to be completed by ends of September, which will enable the installation of newly established companies in the Biopol'H area. The bioincubator has rooms from 30 to 60m2 in the modular building within the Campus of Bellvitge. This location will allow new companies to be close to health buildings (Bellvitge University Hospital and Duran i Reynals Hospital) and to research groups as well (ICO, IDIBELL, UB). In addition, there will be voice and data services available to users who may also share the service of instrumental from the laboratory and the animal house.
Currently, scientific projects are being done in the modular building, such as the Hypobaric Chamber or the Barcino Project. Training courses and seminars are also being carried out.
