The Department of Education and Culture of the City of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and Consortium Biopol’H have joined forces to stimulate the interests of young people towards science and new technologies. The accord has led to the signing of a cooperation agreement between both institutions by means of which Biopol’H is committed to promote experimentation, innovation and research of students in secondary schools, taking into account their potential future studies. The consortium undertakes as well to participate actively in the Science and Technology Conferences that have been held in L’Hospitalet for 10 years.
Therefore, Biopol’H will help students with the preparation of their research papers by giving them some advice; it will organize school visits to Biopol’H area and promote activities and conferences related to the field of Health Sciences. Moreover, the presentation of the Biopol'H Prize will be established and arranged within the framework of the technology conferences. The prize, which consists of a 400 € grant, will be awarded to the Best Research Paper on Health Sciences. Biopol’H will also give all winners the opportunity to attend a workshop on entrepreneurship that will be organized by the consortium itself.
