The Consortium Biopol’H announces the ‘Biopol'H Health Innovation Contest' with the intention to continue fostering innovation among health professionals in the Catalan area. Through this competition they want to identify and energize innovative ideas, encourage entrepreneurship, analyze, evaluate and, eventually, give advice to the arising business projects by supporting their development.
The announcement of this contest of innovative ideas in the healthcare field is a new way of knowledge transfer, aimed at providing solutions to practical problems that may arise in the daily professional activities.
The winning projects will receive support to turn the ideas into reality, so the prize is the opportunity to make the idea feasible, or even to materialize it into a business. This support consists of the study of the defense of the Intellectual Property of the project or idea, a package of support for the implementation of the business (value: 5,000 €) and 6 months of Plug & Play in the Bioincubator of Biopol'H.
The deadline for submitting nominations is now open and will close on July 10. In addition to the project it is recommended to send a video presentation and a brief explanation of it. You'll find the contest rules at: http://www.biopol.cat/cat/actividades-divulgacion/
