Internet has emerged as a vital platform for access to information. The way people access information has changed and, as a result of it, also the way that companies and organizations approach public has evolved. In this line, Consortium Biopol’H opts for networks 2.0 as new communication tools by opening accounts on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and very soon, LinkedIn too.
According to experts, the prevailing 2.0 culture encourages creativity and the exchange of knowledge. Some authors already have a noun for the present moment – era of collaboration. Biopol’H wants to seize the opportunities opened up in Internet by these new tools of social communication to carry out its mission: to build a conceptual and territorial space that favours the creation, transfer and diffusion of new knowledge.
