The president of the employers' association CataloniaBio, Antonio Parente, and the director of Consortium Biopol’H, Ramon López, signed a collaboration agreement between both organizations to promote the biomedical industry in Catalonia. The agreement lays down the wish to adopt common strategies which favour innovation in the companies belonging to CataloniaBio and to groups and enterprises of Biopol'H area.
The agreement also aims to provide and foster training for entrepreneurs and businessmen together, in addition to disseminate programmes to help SMEs participate in research, development and innovation projects.
CataloniaBio
CataloniaBio - the Catalan Association of Biotechnology Companies - is an initiative of businessmen and entrepreneurs from biotechnology industry whose objective is to bring together all the companies with interests in the sector that need a common platform to participate constructively, efficiently and comprehensively in defining the framework for action and overall the stimulating policies designed by the various government agencies in Catalonia.
