On December 15 a collaboration agreement was signed between Biopol’H and the Business Association of L’Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat (AEBALL). Hence, both entities will cooperate to adopt common strategies for promoting the innovation and creation of new business activity in Biopol’H area. These strategies are framed in the field of health, biomedicine and medical technologies.  

This framework for collaboration will give impetus to joint participation in discussion forums in order to reorient industrial sectors towards new business opportunities within the health sector. Furthermore, its aim is to jointly provide and disseminate training programmes for entrepreneurs and businessmen of both entities as well as to disseminate aid programmes which are offered to SMEs from the Catalan, the national and the European areas to participate in programmes of research, development and/or innovation.

Business Association of L'Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat (AEBALL)

The Business Association of L'Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat (AEBALL) was born in 1984. It is a representative business organization of management, protection, coordination and promotion of business interests in common to their partners in terms of industrial, commercial and service sectors within L’Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat.

It is a non-profit association, where the integration of companies is carried out voluntarily. Local groups and employers' organizations can be associated too. AEBALL includes more than 3,000 companies that generate over 48.000 jobs and are located in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat and Baix Llobregat - a territory in constant economic and social growth.
