Victor Moreno has achieved the position as Professor at the Department of Clinical Sciences of the Faculty of Medicine, UB. He is a specialist in epidemiology and teaches several courses at the University of Barcelona. Dr Moreno has been given the Best Paper Award by the Spanish Society of Epidemiology four times (in 1995, 1996, 2001 and 2002) and has written over one hundred articles in indexed journals. Moreover, he combines teaching with research.
There are 7 departments at the Bellvitge Campus of the University of Barcelona: Clinical Sciences, Physiological Sciences II, Pathology and Experimental Therapy, Odontostomatology, Fundamental Care and Medical-Surgical Nursing, Public Health Nursing, Mental Health and Maternal Infant and Podiatry.
Campus Health Sciences Bellvitge has 29 professors, 7 of which come from the Bellvitge University Hospital and 1 comes from the Catalan Institute of Oncology, in L'Hospitalet.
