The Moisès Broggi Hospital in Sant Joan Despí and the Blood and Tissue Bank (BST) have reached an agreement whereby every working Wednesday, from November 9 on, everyone willing to donate blood to the hospital will be able to do so Wednesdays from 10 am to 1.30 pm in an area on Floor 0 that has been specially set aside, in front of the staff cafeteria.
The Hospital has collaborated with the Blood and Tissue Bank in organizing the days for the precise blood drawing in the centre on certain occasions so far. The aim of this new action is to catch up with the users who have had a reference hospital in their area of Baix Llobregat for year and a half.
This initiative, which will lead to the close collaboration between the Moisès Broggi Hospital in Sant Joan Despí and the Blood and Tissue Bank (BST), is hoped to be welcome and help get the reserves of blood needed by the patients.
