Experts in nanotechnology, biotechnology and clinical practice will meet in Montpellier on 28 and 29 January 2010 to attend the "Clinical Applications of Nanotechnologies in the Field of Cancer" symposium.
This symposium has been organized by the three leading centers in cancer nanotechnology research in Southern Europe: the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, the Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, and the Cancéropôle Grand Sud-Ouest. The InnaBioSanté Foundation and the Spanish Nanomedicine Platform have also made outstanding contributions.
The objective of the symposium is to foster multidisciplinary collaboration, with particular emphasis on clinical translation. It aims to bring together experts in nanotechnology and clinical oncologists of these three different regions (Barcelona, Toulouse and Lyon) and to promote scientific exchange. Within the framework of the symposium, the Biopol'H Consortium and its will also be presented.
Attendance at the symposium is free but registration is required through their website at http://www.cancerogso-colloques.org/nanocancer-montpellier2010. The deadline for registration is January 18, 2010.
