The hall of Bellvitge University Hospital hosted on June 30th the closing ceremony with delivery of the Hippocratic oath of the XXIX promotion (2005-2011) of the Medicine students of the UB Campus Bellvitge.
The event was chaired by the Mayor of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Nuria Marín, the representatives of UB for Bellvitge Campus, Miquel Viñas and Francesc Cardellach, the regional manager of GTMS, Xavier Corbella, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, of Bellvitge Campus , Santiago Ambrosio and the Director of Studies of the Faculty of Medicine, Josep M. Ramon.
The speakers encouraged the new graduates to have a leading role, despite the difficulties and uncertainties, in the progress of medical practice in the upcoming years in our home. Representatives of the students spoke of the end of the long journey of many sacrifices and efforts.
The event concluded with the Hippocratic oath, the singing of the university anthem, and a family picture.
