On Wednesday November 3 Holistic Health Consortium (Consorci Sanitari Integral) organized the First Scientific Conference on the occasion of its tenth Anniversary. In the course of this event, Ramon López, director of Biopol’H, explained the objectives, approached and concepts of Biopol’H area.
The conference was set to promote knowledge synergy among the different research groups. And so, through a brief explanation, the 14 research groups belonging to CSI were announced. The studies of these groups are focused on dermatology, aging, pneumology, clinical neuropsychiatry and neuropsychology, among others.
Holistic Health Consortium is an organization affiliated to Consortium Biopol’H. It is a public entity for health and social services that was born in 2000, taking over the former Red Cross hospitals in the province of Barcelona. Currently CSI is engaged by the Catalan Health Service (Servei Català de la Salut), the Catalan Institute of Health (Institut Català de la Salut), the city councils of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat and Sant Joan Despí, the regional councils of Baix Llobregat and Red Cross.
